Another ASAP Member to attend Brock University!
Alison Moyes, recent graduate of the ASAP Sommelier Program, and finalist in the Atlantic Canada Regional Sommelier Competition, has been accepted into Brock University's Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute.
She will be the second ASAP grad to attend this now prestigious winemaking school, following Gina Haverstock, who is currently in Australia making wine, and may be returning to Nova Scotia for a term at Jost later this year.
Alison also garnered the Don Triggs Scholarship for entry into the program. Those of you considering this as a future career path should take the time to talk to her about this, for future years, as the scholarships are designated by geographical parts of Canada.
Congratulations to Alison, and although we will certainly miss her, it is great to see our people moving on to even greater things in the world of wine.
